LinkedIn Pinpoint Answer 704

I started by looking at the first clue, Mailboxes. My brain went to the idea of sending and receiving mail, but I couldn't quite pinpoint the connection. Then I saw the second clue, Toasters, and I thought it was about household items. I was way off, but I didn't know it yet.

The third clue, Television schedules, made me think about time management and programming. I was starting to see a glimmer of a connection, but it wasn't until the fourth clue, Computer motherboards, that things started to click. I realized that each of these things had a common feature - a slot of some kind.

The fifth clue, Vending machines (for coins), sealed the deal. It was then that I had my 'Aha!' moment and realized that the category was Things with slots. Looking back, it seems so obvious, but it was a fun journey getting there.

In retrospect, I love how this category is so diverse, yet unified by a single feature. It just goes to show that even the most seemingly unrelated things can be connected in interesting ways.
